This section in based on a systematic study of the national and european politics concerning the protection of cultural heritage. The innovation of EC's treaties introduced in 1992 the european action for tne conservation and safeguarding of cultural heritage of european significance, to emphatise the common cultural heritage. Cultural politics will be the basic structure of the new european building, influencing all other politics. The aim of this workgroup is the analysis of the relations between the EU system and the national and regional ones protecting cultural goods.
